War. What is it good for ?

Absolutely nothing.Say it again.

I agree totally,as do many others. But,for some Governments and people War is sometimes a necessary evil.

But those people are not the ones who have to fight !

For the young people required to carry arms and obey the orders to kill, War is an unimaginable horror.
The smells, the noise, and the sight of Human bodies reduced to bloody pulp.
The loss of friends, the shock and fear must change them and damage their minds.

So, it comes as no suprise to learn that members of the 1st Regiment, Royal Horse Artillery, tested positive for cocaine and cannabis.
Military Police drug tested around 400 soldiers and 8 were caught out.

What is shocking isnt the number of soldiers using drugs,but the fact that they were tested at all !

Leave the soldiers alone.
Surely they have enough to deal with fighting the politicians War for them. Without having to look over their shoulders for people willing to put the boot into them when they are resting and recuperating.
