Yesterday, the smell of rotting flesh from the bathroom, led us to rip up the sink cabinet and there we discovered another body.

This rat had began to decompose quite badly and maggots were already evident.

My flatmates g/f dropped the body in the bin, bless her.
They felt it was their turn after I had dealt with the one under the bath.

Is this the end of them ?

I fear that because we are on the ground floor we may have bad odours for the next 2/3 weeks.

Rats. Who'd have them ?

Car driver, Desmond Russell, jumped a red light and killed a scooter rider. The traffic light had been red for 27 seconds !!

41 year old, Desmond Russell, was doing between 54 and 66 mph when he hit the rider, in North London.
The driver claimed the accident happened after the "most stressful shift" of his career !

He had pleaded Not Guilty, but before the Jury retired to consider their verdict he changed his plea to 'Guilty of Careless Driving'.

Desmond Russell, an Acting Police Inspector, for the British Transport Police, was fined £2000 and banned from driving for three years.

Another case of NO JUSTICE in our Court system.

Sundays will never be the same again.

A strange smell from the bathroom was realised by the finding of one dead rat.

My flatmate, who says he has a phobia of rats, left me to retrieve the body.I took off the bath panel and there it was.
I hoovered up the shit under the bath and thought that the end of it.Job done yahoo.

When I used the bathroom this morning, I noticed a strange smell....

I have just noticed two more blog sites that I set up have been deleted.
No warning, no communication, just...

'This user has deleted his account'

They were sites I rarely used,but were based in the USA.
Where I once thought I could get an echo from the free thinkers over there.
There must be some was/is my hope.

Right now, I feel despair for the caring, honest, fair american.

Or, perhaps, as I am begining to fear, they have all left the country.

The rat catcher finally appeared last friday and put poison down.
Two weeks after our first phone call to them.

Are the rats something we should have dealt with on our own, I wonder.
They behaved themselves well in the end. They stayed in the bathroom and hardly wandered around elsewhere.
I could even take baths and not fret myself.

Poison. A terrible way to go, I imagine.

But, it IS nice to know that our bathroom is ours again.

Amazing animals Rats.

I discovered they have eaten through the toilet waste pipe and are coming through there.

Because of the work going on outside, the rats are looking for safer places.

Its not nice having rats running around the flat, but worse are the people we have been ringing for help.(the estate caretaker and Westminster Council)

They promise to ring us back and no-one does.

What a waste of time.

Rats
