Some People.

by roynelson @ Tuesday, Jul. 31, 2007 - 18:09:45

A guy turned up this morning pushing an ET4.

'It needs an MOT', he panted, the sweat pouring off him.

I took pity on him, even though we were being slaughtered.
With the proviso - 'I need you to pick it up by 5'.

He agreed and we did the work.
This afternoon, I got a call from him.
'My mate will pick it up'.

Well, its 6 pm.
Ive rang and rang him, only getting his answer phone.

Ive got no space to store it.
So I have to beg my neighbour to allow me to store it in his workshop overnight.

People and their false promises.

TUT.

Korey Rowe Arrested.

by roynelson @ Thursday, Jul. 26, 2007 - 03:11:27

Korey Rowe, producer of the film, Loose change, has been arrested and handed ove to USA Military Police, for 'deserting the army'.

A Military warrant was used by Cops in New York, on Monday.

The arrest comes just as Rowe puts the final touches to Loose Change 2, preparing for the 'big screen' debut of the film.

Korey Rowe, served in Afghanistan and Iraq, before deserting in 05/06.

There are many desertions from the US forces, increasing year on year, with the continuing prescence in the Middle East.

The Authorities rarely take Legal action'

Last year, they only Court-Martialed 5% of the number they caught.

Is Korey Rowe's arrest Politically Motivated ?

It appears so.

In praise Of Community Support Officers

by roynelson @ Sunday, Jul. 22, 2007 - 14:54:00

I had mislaid the keys to my motorcycle, so a few days ago, a friend and I put the bike into the back of his van to take to the workshop.

I closed the doors and turned to meet the 'allo allo allo' eyes of a young, female Community Support Officer.

She asked for an explanation and radioed in our details.
All in all, it took about 30 minutes and we were on our way again.

As I was handed my copy of the 'stops and searches' form, the officer apologised for delaying us.
I thanked HER in response.
She just looked at me, strangely.

Ive had 7 bikes stolen in the past.
Most of them I have got back myself.
The Police have been little or no help at all.

This time a female, working on her own, challenged two 'mature' men,
acting 'suspiciously'.
Credit to her.

If only all Community Support Officers were as vigilante as this one.

The Third Anniversary of Siabreen's Death.

by roynelson @ Thursday, Jul. 12, 2007 - 19:28:49

Yesterday was the third anniversary of my ex partners death.

It was the first time that I felt neither pain nor anger at her passing.

My thoughts were for my daughter, Grace.

Both parents taken from her by the stupid, selfish actions of Adam Fairclough, UEA and his sister, Alison Gelfand, of Merrick, New York.

Not forgetting the crazy, corrupt legal system that allows such betrayal of a young child.
