Post Office Short Changing Customers.

by roynelson @ Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007 - 20:27:34

It appears that the Post Office has come up with a new way of increasing profits.

On my last two visits to the Post office, I have been short changed by a pound each time.

I didnt realise the first time till I got back to the workshop so let it go.
When it happened again, last Thursday, I counted out the change I had been given and the cashier blushed. She knew.

I left without saying anything.

Now, we all make mistakes and I can forgive most things.

This Post Office gets very busy and I know that many of its customers are junkies and other low life.

But, I fear for people, such as the elderly who cash their pensions and trust the PO staff completely.

When/If it happens again, I shall report it.

I hope I dont have to.

Good Neighbours.

by roynelson @ Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007 - 13:06:49

I picked up a scooter that the rider couldnt get the lock off, a couple of days ago.

As my friend and I heaved it into the van, a neighbour challenged us from across the road.

I had to wait while he phoned the shop and ascertained that we were who we said we were.

He apologised for inconveniencing us.

Not at all !

I am so happy that neighbours are looking out for others.
If only all neighbours were like this one.

A Parrot, Three Ducks And A Mad Dog.

by roynelson @ Tuesday, Oct. 09, 2007 - 20:21:52

Just come back from a very noisy weekend, spent with my partner.

Abs had been asked to house-sit for a friend, while she increased her carbon footprint jetting off to the States.

What a racket !

The Parrot shrieking, Ducks a-quaking and a mad Dog that only wanted to chase keys that I threw for him.

The really bizarre thing was how much I enjoyed it all.

Plane Crashes On Mosque, Temple Mount, Israel.

by roynelson @ Sunday, Oct. 07, 2007 - 14:56:06

It will be two weeks on Monday, since I had a nightmare.

For those who dont know, they have plagued me since I was very young. Ruining my sleep and often scaring the shit out of my family and bed partners.

Two weeks isnt a long time, I know. But I am so enjoying the respite and want my sleep to be undisturbed forever.

Now I having more 'normal' dreams.

One that is recurring is an airplane that crashes onto a mosque somewhere.
I guess from pictures I have seen of the area, that it is the Temple mount in Israel.

I state again it is a guess, as I have not been to the area. Tis just a feeling.

I fear that I have had a glimpse of the future.
Or maybe scared of another 'false flag' incident.

I pray they are just dreams.
