Could the summer being such a disappointment be due to the power of prayer and positive thought ?
Riding home through wind and two showers of rain, I noticed few hardy smokers outside pubs and bars along the way.
There are usually a lot more.
Since the smoking ban, the real pub scene is now outside.
When weather is good the pavements are heaving - a real 'street party'.
Everyone having a good time.
Then theres the pubs in residential areas !
I live near one.
Too far to be truly troubled by the crowd, I shudder for the neighbours.
Shouted conversations, loud laughter and even screaming until one or two in the morning.
Not nice.
When it rains the place is so quiet.
Power of Prayer ??
